NSS celebrates Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by organising Blood Donation Camp

Students and faculty of Chitkara University celebrated the 123rd Birth Anniversary of one of our freedom fighter, Subhash Chandra Bose, who was popularly addressed as “Netaji”. Born in Cuttack, Odisha, Bengal Province, Netaji was the ninth child in a well-to-do family of 14 children and grew up to become a freedom fighter of international repute. Commemorating his Birth Anniversary, the NSS Department of Chitkara University, organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Civil Hospital, Rajpura.

More than 150 students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, volunteered for the noble cause and approximately 100 units of blood were collected.
