Ninety-six students donate blood at blood donation camp

96 students donated their blood in a display of selfless service to the sick and affected humanity and save human lives during a blood donation camp that was organized by the Chitkara Business School – BBA/B.Com Department‬ in co-ordination with Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital‬. The message sent across was Give the gift of life; donate blood and make your contribution to save human lives. Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, was present to encourage, appreciate and applaud the students for their kindness and volunteerism.

The Blood Donation Camp was held at Chitkara University Campus and provided a unique opportunity for the students to understand the value of donating blood. Both boy and girl students were a part of this campaign, which was totally on a volunteer basis. Staff from Gian Sagar Hospital helped in carrying out the camp. Students expressed their compassionate side at the camp by coming forward in large numbers for this noble cause.
