New Normal Education Summit 2023: Pro Chancellor shares insights on India’s Vision 2030

The New Normal Education Summit 2023 commenced with great enthusiasm as Shri Temjen Imna Along, Honourable Minister of Higher Education and Tourism, Nagaland, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Among the esteemed guests present during the inaugural session was the Pro Chancellor of Chitkara University, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, who added her valuable perspective to the proceedings.

During her address, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, delved into the theme of INDIA’s Vision 2030: A move to improve education and skills in the 21st Century. She highlighted the importance of adapting to the rapidly changing market requirements and stressed the significance of collaborative efforts between industry and academia. The Pro Chancellor, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, also emphasized that the university’s state-of-the-art labs, conducive ecosystem for research and entrepreneurship, and industry-academic partnerships have played a pivotal role in preparing students to be industry-ready.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara underscored as well, the constant need for skill upgradation among faculty members. In this regard, she highlighted the university’s international partnerships, which have provided valuable global exposure to both faculty and students. Training faculty at specialized institutes and fostering an ecosystem that encourages research has proven to be immensely beneficial.

In her concluding remarks, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, expressed confidence and optimism about India’s readiness to reap rich dividends of its young demographic group, making it the preferred destination for Education and Manufacturing. The summit provided a platform to discuss and strategize the way forward in aligning education and skills with India’s Vision 2030.
