National Education Day to pay tribute to Mualana A.K. Azad

Chitkara University paid tribute to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad by organizing an event on November 11, 2014. This day was the 126th Birth Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and was observed as the ‘National Education Day’.

The event was organized as a mark of his honor for his contribution towards the country’s development in the field of education. The event started with students joining a rally to create awareness about this day, followed by a huge number of students coming up to speak on Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, his life and his contribution towards the country.

The event was a great success as the motive of letting the students know about Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and his contribution towards education was met.
