Ms. Shivani Inder, Faculty of Chitkara Business School represented Chitkara University at Indian Institute of Capital Markets, Mumbai from 19th to 20th December 2013 at International Conference and presented research paper on “Interdependence Between Indian Stock Market And Other Asian Markets: An Empirical Analysis”.
More than 100 research papers were received by IICM organizers for the presentation and only 23 papers were permitted for the presentation selected on the basis of their quality of research. The Conference has contributed to the development of knowledge immensely. The XII Capital Markets Conference was held at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.The focus of the conference was on capital markets, debt markets, derivative markets and commodity markets.
Indian Institute of Capital Markets (UTI Institute of Capital Markets), established in 1989, has been organising the Capital Markets Conference since 1997. It is a much-awaited annual event in which professionals from academia and industry, from India and abroad, presents their papers.
While congratulating the Faculty, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab commented, “Research is the only solution to improve the quality of education in the country.
