Mr Prashant Arora, IRS Officer and a Chitkara alumni, interact with students
Students met Mr. Prashant Arora, an Indian Revenue Service, IRS, officer and an alumnus of the ECE batch 2006-2010.
The students were inquisitional about his journey of being a civil servant and asked many questions regarding his preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and his motivation. Prashant summarised the session by encouraging students to learn from their failures rather than quitting.
He threw light upon how to prepare for the Civil Services and become an officer. Prashant stated that he was always keen on joining the Civil Services and thanked Chitkara University, his Alma Mater, for enabling him in making it this far in his career. After the talk, he interacted with the faculty members and met Dr Madhu Chitkara. He remembered the good old days as a Chitkarian and reminisced about the times he spent at the Chitkara campus.
Nine out of 10 people remember the times they spent as students and we are glad that we are a cradle to several lives, who aspire, achieve and dream big in life. People like Prashant make us proud and put us on a pedestal that is worth taking pride in.
