Mr Gagan Sharma, Sommelier and WSET, delivered a guest lecture at Chitkara College of Hotel Management & Catering

Mr Gagan Sharma, India Head for Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) London UK, delivered a Guest Lecture for students of sixth-semester BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration (H&HA) and second-semester students of BSc Hospitality Administration (HA).

In a very candid & interactive session Mr Gagan, A Hotel Management graduate of 2004-2007, shared his experience his success story of a short span of ten years with the students, inspiring them to succeed in their professions.The students were intrigued to know that after graduating from catering college, his passion for food and beverage took him to Victoria University, Australia, where he successfully completed his Masters of Business in Hospitality Management in 2008. Thereafter, there was no looking back as he underwent numerous basis and advance certifications for wine and spirit education.

Mr Sharma also shared his passion for adventure and reading and advised students to cultivate and develop their overall personalities with hobbies to gain an edge over the stiff competitive hospitality world.
