MoU inked with Wesleyan College, USA.
Chitkara University takes immense pride in announcing the signing of a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wesleyan College. Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University, and Meaghan Blight, President of Wesleyan College, USA participated in the signing ceremony that took place in the distinguished presence of Hazel Siromoni, Pro Vice Chancellor of the Office of International Affairs at Chitkara University.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both institutions, with Wesleyan College being recognized as the first college in the world to be chartered in 1836 to grant degrees to women. The MoU aims to foster a deepened partnership between Chitkara University and Wesleyan College, leveraging their respective strengths and expertise in the field of education.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara had the honor of addressing a distinguished gathering of educators, including principals and representatives from renowned educational institutions, as well as esteemed organizations such as the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF), who were invited by Wesleyan College.
