Media Square’ 2017 Released at Chitkara School of Mass Communication

The budding Journalists of the class of BA (JMC) second / IV semester of Chitkara School of Mass Communication saw their efforts bear fruit when the 8th edition of the annual print project ‘ Media Square’ was released by Wg Cdr R.S Gill, Vice-President, University Affairs along with and Dr. S.C. Sharma, Registrar, Chitkara University.

In his brief interaction with the students, Wg Cdr R.S Gill appreciated the work done by them. He also touched upon the changes the media industry has gone through in today’s world. The faculty and all students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication were present when ‘Media Square’ was released.

Earlier, a Quiz Competition was organized for students of the School. The Quiz was divided into various sections, including audio, audio-visual as also questions on current affairs. All students were divided into six teams with each of them being led by their respective Mentors. Team English finished on top followed by team Editing. While the first round was a written test, the latter rounds included MCQs, a personality round and an audio-video round. The later rounds were enjoyed most by the students.

Besides these activities students had a fun round with a team from Radio City, a newly opened FM station operating from Patiala.
