Media School organizes workshop on film production
Media School organized a two-day workshop on film production.
The workshop was conducted by a well-known director Mandeep Sodhi for our BJMC and MJMC students.
The theme of the workshop was from `Sheet to Screen’ and a range of characteristics of audio-visual production were studied in detail at the workshop.
The first session of the event made students aware about how to make an appealing film using detailed planning of each and every shot, scene and sequence.
Various examples were shown to the students of minute aspects of continuity, lighting, dialogue, sound effects, animation, and characterization, in order to let them know the importance of these features in film production.
The second day of the workshop saw practical on cinematography and the art and craft of post-production/ and editing were discussed. Students were asked to make short fiction after dividing them into groups.
The workshop proved to be a great success in terms of making our students learn the know-how on film production.
