Media School organizes Salaam-E-Cinema

Salaam-E-Cinema organized by Media School was appreciated by one and all. The event was conducted to mark the completion of 100 years of Bollywood.

Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, inaugurated the event, by lighting a lamp. The event saw students not only from the Punjab campus participating in it but students from the Himachal Pradesh were also an integral part of the seven events carried out.

There were various Bollywood themes used on which the event was based. Games like Mobile Box office, Bollywood ki Pathshaala, a quiz based on Bollywood that had two rounds, Bol Bachan, Pehchan Kaun and Awaz Neeche, a Dumb Charades game, were held.

There was some dancing fun added to the event with Aaja Nach Le. During this the students danced their way through on Bollywood numbers.

Star cast of an upcoming Punjabi Film Bikkar Bhai was present at the event. The lead actor Jasraj Jassi visited Radio Chitkara and gave his interview on 107.8 FM.

Towards the end of the event, Dr Madhu Chitkara gave away the prizes to the winners of various events and Wing Commander R.S. Gill (Retd), Vice-President, Chitkara University, assisted her.
