Mechanical School organizes International Conference AMMT 2013

Another day when our students had to rub their technical side of mind at the International Conference AMMT 2013 that was organised by Mechanical School.

School of Mechanical Engineering had initiated an event that delved upon the aspects of ‘Advances in Materials and Manufacturing Technology, AMMT 2013’ at the international conference.

Students and faculty were at it for quiet sometime now and some prominent people made their appearance as the Chief Guest for the conference was Dr Amarjit Singh, Associate Director, TBRL Chandigarh. Guest of Honour was Mr J.S. Gill, General Manager, NPL, L&T, Thermal Plant Rajpura.

As the name suggests that it was an international conference, there were about 43 papers that were published in the proceedings, including one from Russia. Out of these 35 papers were presented in the technical sessions. These papers spoke about Advances in Materials and Manufacturing Technology and students who were a part of the conference, learnt a lot from the event.
