Mechanical Engineering Students visit Mahindra Swaraj plant for learning production technology
The knowledge of engineering students should not be limited to only classroom lectures. They need industrial exposure and witness how technology takes twists and turns for a better future.
About 15 students of Mechanical Engineering from Chitkara Institute of Engineering & Technology visited Mahindra Swaraj plant on a Production Technology study field visit led by Ms. Sandra Kamoun, German Intern.
The aim of the visit was to keep the students updated about the latest advancements. To keep students abreast with latest in production technology, they were taken around the plant and the process was explained in detail by the staff at the plant.
The students were introduced to different steps and technologies involved in the manufacturing of tractors. Such practical exposures help students in better understanding of theoretical concepts.
The visit proved to be helpful for the students and they were given detailed knowledge of various steps involved in making tractors right from the scratch.
