MBA students start radio program ‘Paisa aur Vaipar’
MBA students of Chitkara Business School have started a radio program at Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM to bring awareness among listeners about basics of Business, Banking and Finance, current issues in business environment that affect the day-to-day life of a common man.
The program is titled as “Paisa aur Vaipar” for regional listeners. It will be weekly program on air at Radio Chitkara FM 107.8, every Friday.
Radio Chitkara FM 107.8 has taken this initiative to fulfill the need of gaining more knowledge and being educated to business opportunities and essential information around. In this pretext, Chitkara Business School has tied with Radio Chitkara FM 107.8 to explore more such opportunities.
The MBA students are feeling excited and more accountable to the society in terms of disseminating basic management and business related knowledge.
While sharing their experience, Nagma, Vibhor, Priya, Preenika and Jasleen remarked that earlier they had undertaken Financial Literacy Project as part of their curriculum in the rural areas of Punjab but this medium seems to be more effective to all of them because of its wider reach and access.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, remarked that Knowledge shared is Knowledge gained. Helping each other is the only way to ensure the spread of knowledge. She applauded the efforts of MBA students, Chitkara Business School, and Radio Chitkara FM 107.8 for this joint effort.
