Lecture on accounting practices at five-star hotels for hospitality students

A good hospitality professional is someone who is well equipped with the knowledge on all aspects of hospitality and this is the reason that Chitkara Scholl of Hospitality, Chitkara University, exposes its students to cakes and bakes, how to serve the delectable delights, all about housekeeping and now it was time for the students to known about the concepts of finance and accounting at five-star hotels.

Ms. Gunjan Nanra, Director Finance for Hotel Hyatt Regency, Amritsar, delivered a lecture to second and final year students of hotel management. The topic covered was various concepts of finance and accounting practices in Five star hotels such as P&L, budgeting and revenue management. The lecture was highly interactive and students had a good learning experience.
