Lab journal on Udaan 2014’ released

Print specialization students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication worked hard to produce an eight-page special newspaper (lab journal) to cover the activities of Udaan 14, a media festival, held by the School on November 13, 2014.

Over 300 media students from various universities and colleges of north India took part in the event that proved successful. The event is hosted every year by final year students of graduate and post graduate students in which competitions pertaining to media are organized. A total of 12 events were organized this year which include Curtain Call ( theatre) and Tooncature ( cartoon making) as new ones. A group of students of the School formally presented the printed newspaper to Wing Commander R.S. Gill, Vice-President, University Affairs, CU ( Pb) and the Registrar of the University Dr. S.C. Sharma.

The journal covers the activities of the fest extensively and has proved to be a good exposure for the print media students.
