Korea-India Student Exchange Scholarship for Chitkara Students
A Korea-India student exchange scholarship has been initiated for students at the Chitkara University. The scholarship is intended for students who want a global exposure in regard to their academic phase.
The scholarship will be provided for the fall semester, i.e. from September to December. The settlement support of Rs 40,000 will be provided once to the scholarship holder. There will be a monthly allowance of Rs 40,000 included in the scholarship. The eligibility for the scholarship is Indian citizenship and over 80 per cent of the GPA.
About nine colleges have been covered under the scholarship and there are 39 majors on offer. English language will be used to teach 15 per cent of these courses. There is a course on Korean language also. There is one Asian studies program also on offer.
