Kapil Sharma and Zwigato Star Cast Bring Energy to Chitkara University’s Glorious Event”

Chitkara University in Punjab played host to a star-studded event on 6th March 2023. The university welcomed the renowned Kapil Sharma, along with Shahana Goswami and Nandita Das, for the promotion of their upcoming film Zwigato. The celebrated star was escorted by four student bikers, who led him to the Exploretorium. A swarm of students and faculty members welcomed their stars with electrifying energy.

The Exploretorium was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, who was the chief guest of the event. Dr. Niyati Chitkara, Vice-President of Chitkara International School, Chandigarh, and Panchkula, added more grandeur to the event as a guest of honour.

Kapil motivated the students to pursue their passions and expressed how educational institutions like Chitkara are the perfect place to explore their potential and bring out their hidden talents.

The auditorium was transformed into a musical transcendence as Kapil delighted the audience with his soulful voice, singing back-to-back songs. The audience also enjoyed the trailer of Zwigato, which showcased the emotion involved in bringing food from the kitchen to bikes. The movie tells the story of a man who works as a food delivery rider, grappling with the world of ratings and incentives. To support the income, his homemaker wife begins to explore different work opportunities, with fear but also the excitement of newfound independence.

The event concluded with Dr. Madhu Chitkara and Dr. Niyati Chitkara felicitating the star cast and wishing them good luck with their movie. The audience, in anticipation of the film’s release, cheered and hooted for a group picture, leaving the venue buzzing with energy. The flash mob by the students at the end will be etched forever in the memories of Chitkara University!
