Joy of Giving: Chitkara University students & faculty show the way

To celebrate ‘kindness’ and experience the ‘joy of giving’, student volunteers & faculty of Chitkara University planned week-long activities dotted with small yet meaningful gestures, from October 1-5, 2019.. The activity was planned and executed by the student members of Matrix Club, under the aegis of Department of Computer Applications.

Celebrations started with students joining in PM Shri Narendra Modi’s campaign for the disposal of Plastic from nearby places. Enthusiastic students of CA took the initiative and sensitised the people on street. On Day-2, Selfie Day was celebrated where students took selfies of kind gestures; followed by visit to Old Age Home on Day-3 where students carried a small gift for the residents and spend quality time with them. Day-4, a Slogan Writing Contest was held where students came up with catchy slogans to be put up on notice board. Day-5 students donated used clothes/utilities to the unfortunate.
