Casting yet another niche for themselves, students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication again made the School and Chitkara University proud by winning four top positions in the one-day media fest “Rayon De Soleil”.

The Department of Media and Journalism of Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, organized the fest. A total of 23 students of CSMC participated in the event out of which four students bagged first positions. Sonam Kainthla, a student of MA (JMC) second year, stood first in news anchoring, whereas in Karaoke competition Jasmine Kaur of the same class won the first prize. The event of Radio Jockey was won by Anmol Vaid of BA (JMC) final year while Ushma Agnihotri of BA (JMC) second year got the first position in collage-making competition.

It was a tough call for the judges however at the fest as there were several participants in the various competitions but keeping the tradition of giving the best, our students bagged yet another feat. They were welcomed with a warm heart when they got the laurels back to their alma mater.

The students were accompanied by Mr. Ranjit Singh Chopra, Ms. Nisha Sharma and Ms. Rupinder Kaur of CSMC.
The entire Chitkara fraternity congratulates all the participants and wishes them luck for future.
