International Conference on Banking & Finance, ICBF 2016 concluded successfully at CBS
The conference received 71 research papers out of which 50 papers could qualify for presentation. Nearly 41 presenters delivered their presentation in Six technical sessions scheduled on 10th and 11th December 2016.
Research papers were received from Libya and Slovakia also. Remaining papers presented were from various Universities/institutions from Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Telangana, HP, Delhi NCR, and Chandigarh.
Research Paper titled “Interdependence Dynamics of Commodity Derivatives and Macroeconomic Factors : Evidence from India by Prof. Shriram Anil Purankar from Jaypee Business School, Noida and Dr Vipul Kumar Singh from NITIE, Mumbai got Best Paper Award in Finance Track.
The research paper titled ” Assessment of Key Performance Indicators of Commercial Banks in India – A CAMEL Approach” by Kanika Sachdeva, P. Malarvizhi and Dr. P. Sivakumar from EMPI Business School got Best Paper Award in Banking Track.
Ms. Chandan Desai, Director, Anand Rathi gave a keynote address and discussed various aspects of Finance, Banking and Economy. Mr. Srikant Koundinya, Head (Training) from Multi Commodity Exchange, Mumbai delivered the closing session.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab congratulated Chitkara Business School for the successful conduct of International Conference.
