An interactive and information sharing session on cyber ethics
An interactive and information sharing session was organized by a team of Task Systems under guidance of Office of Information Technology for IHM faculty members.The team talked about Awareness on cyber ethics and information was shared on social security over Internet, IPR, Copyrights, Piracy, alternatives of commercial application at open source.
Cyber-ethics is the discipline of using appropriate and ethical behaviors and acknowledging moral duties and obligations pertaining to online environments and digital media.
Students recognize and practice responsible and appropriate use while accessing, using, collaborating, and creating technology, technology systems, digital media and information technology. Students demonstrate an understanding of current ethical and legal standards, rights and restrictions governing technology, technology systems, digital media and information technology within the context of today’s society.
Just as protecting youth from dangers on the Internet is important, so is protecting the Internet from young people who might abuse it. Keeping this in mind, the session was organised.
