Infosys, Mohali invites our Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr Ashok K Chitkara as the Chief Guest for a Tree Plantation Drive

Dr Ashok K Chitkara, Hon’ble Chancellor of Chitkara University was invited as the Chief Guest for a Tree Plantation Drive organised by Infosys, Mohali. Many volunteers took part in the well-orchestrated campaign which witnessed participation from employees of Infosys Mohali along with their kith and kin.

The plantation drive, which aimed at increasing the green cover and lessening the effects of global warming, was organised by Infosys employees’ social service group “ARPAN”. The group works in various areas including education of the underprivileged children, healthcare, women empowerment and environment protection.

Tree plantation has been an important initiative since last many years for them. Therefore, for this important event, they invited Dr Chitkara and he was there to grace the event, being an integral part of this noble cause.
