Industrial visits to Alkem Laboratories Limited Baddi for B.Pharm 2nd-yr & D.Pharma 3rd-yr students

Chitkara College of Pharmacy (CCP) organized an industrial visit for the students of B.Pharmacy IInd Year and Pharma D IIIrd Year at Alkem Laboratories Limited Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The visit was conducted on 7th April 2018 and Dr Tapan Behl and Dr Balraj Saini, Asso Professors, CCP, accompanied the students.

Alkem Laboratories Limited, Baddi is involved in manufacturing formulations like anti-infective, dermatology, diabetology, multivitamins etc. The students were taken through storage facilities, manufacturing facilities, packaging facilities. The various large-scale pharma manufacturing equipment and its applications were keenly observed by the students.

The visit to Pharmaceutical Industry enabled students to correlate their theory with practical application in pharma manufacturing field. The officials at Alkem Laboratories Limited were also impressed with the curiosity of our students to learn the subject.

The students were enriched with knowledge and felt happy after visiting the pharmaceutical industry.
