Industrial visit to CSIO by IEEE and ACM student chapter

Chitkara University students from IEEE and ACM Student Chapter had the privilege of going on an Industrial visit to CSIO, which was established in 1959 in New Delhi, and relocated to Chandigarh in 1962.

Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) is a National Laboratory dedicated to Research, Design and Development of Scientific and Industrial instruments. It is one of the constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), India, an industrial research and development organisation of the country. September 29 is celebrated as “CSIO Foundation Day”.

The students were taken to various workshops and Labs for getting first hand knowledge on various things.
