IG, Vigilance, Punjab, sdelivers talk on cyber security at Chitkara University

It is a virtual world and internet is an integral part of our everyday lives. It is both a boon and a curse and one has to be extremely aware of the impact it has on us. There have been many crimes carried out on a computer that have led to unfortunate incidents and the most targeted are the students. Due to this, a talk on cyber security was conducted by Amardeep S. Rai, IG, Vigilance, Punjab.

The expert talk on Cyber Security was organised for seventh Semester Engineering students of CSE, EE, ME and ECE and around 500 students attended the Talk. Mr. Rai, addressed the budding engineers on the Cyber Security Awareness in Session one and Session Second was addressed by Mr. Pawan Mehta, Associate Director, Office of Information Technology, on Cyber Crime, Threats, IT Act 2000/2008 and Global perspective of Cyber Crime.

The talk proved to be immensely successful for our students.
