IE (I) Student Chapters’ of Department of CSE organises an industrial visit to Infosys, Chandigarh.

Industrial visits form an integral part of the holistic education curriculum at Chitkara University. Students visit companies and get the insight of the internal working environment of the company, and useful information related to the practical aspects of the course which cannot be visualised in lectures.

Keeping this in mind, IE (I) Student Chapters’ of Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised an industrial visit to Infosys, for a tour of the Chandigarh campus. Around 150 students of IE (I) and four faculty members of the CSE Department visited the site, where they were informed about the history and geographical presence of Infosys. Students also attended an interactive session where they were informed about various domains of the company and their training campus at Mysore. Further, students were given greater clarity about various job profiles and placement options, including general management rules to understand the company better.
