IEI Student Chapter of CSE organises 2-day workshop on Amazon Web Services & Python Machine Learning’

The institution of Engineers (India) Student Chapters’ of Department of Computer Science and Engineering organised a 2 days workshop on ‘Amazon Web Services’ and ‘Python Machine Learning’ on 3rd-4th April 2018 at Chitkara University. More than 100 Engineering students along with few faculty members have attended the workshop.

Mr. Pankaj Gupta, MCSD Certified from Netmax was a resource person for a workshop ‘Amazon Web Services’. He explained to the students the need of cloud computing in this era. The students created their own Amazon Web Services Account. Virtualization on cloud was the main task performed using Amazon Web Services. He taught the students as to how they can make their own Chat Bots. The students created Database systems in MySQL using AWS.
The workshop was presented by Mr. Pankaj Gupta, MCSD Certified. He explained to the students the need of cloud computing in this era. The students created their own Amazon Web Services Account. While another workshop on ‘Python Machine Learning’ was conducted by another guest from Mr Diljeet Singh, Developer, Netmax. He taught the students the basics of programming in python, followed by an introduction to basics of Machine learning and Artificial intelligence on the first day. The second day involved a deeper dig into types of Machine learning, using amazon Lex and creating a custom chat bots using the same.

Overall, the students participated quite enthusiastically in learning a new technique of sharing data through this workshop.
