ICBF 2019 addresses pressing Banking & Finance issues, provides insightful directions

Chitkara Business School organised the Second International Conference on Banking and Finance (ICBF) 2019 on April 13-14, 2019, at Chitkara University, Punjab Campus. ICBF serves as an excellent platform for academics and researchers to present and share the findings of their studies. In addition, it also provides an opportunity for academics and practitioners to discuss and exchange ideas pertaining to current research issues, best practices, and practical experience gathered in all areas of Banking and Finance.

Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University; inaugurated the Annual International Conference. Dr. Kumkum Budgujjar, Assistant Legal Adviser, Reserve Bank of India; and Dr. Subhashish Mitra, Head – Talent Acquisition, Bajaj Allianz; were the keynote speakers at the conference.

During the 2-Day conference, Professionals, Policymakers, Academicians and Researchers presented scholarly, conceptual, empirical and practitioner papers, that address pressing issues in the Banking & Finance sector, and aim to integrate research, practice and teaching. Total 93 Research Papers & Presentation Proposals were received, out of which 53 were selected for Presentation – 14 Papers were accepted from industry participants and 39 Papers from Academicians & Researchers.

The outcome and recommendations of the International Conference on Banking and Finance (ICBF) 2019, provided insightful directions for all pertinent issues in Banking & Finance – effective policies, plans and strategies.
