Hospitality students get a glimpse of modern plate presentation by ace chef

Presenting food is an important aspect of culinary skills and any hospitality student will vouch for this. Understanding the importance of a good presentation is extremely important for students who are from the hospitality industry. Following this, the staff and faculty of Chitkara School of Hospitality, Chitkara University, Punjab, organised a lecture on modern plate presentation for students. The presentation was delivered by Executive Chef, Hotel Park Plaza, Zirakpur, Chef Harmeet Singh.

He told the students on how to use simple things present in the kitchen to make exciting plate presentations. Our students learnt a great deal during the presentation and were given a chance to try their hand at the art too. In the end, all the queries were taken up by the expert and towards the end of the presentation, the students thanked Chitkara School of Hospitality for organising such an informative event for them.
