Chitkara College of Nursing organizes workshop on ‘Critical Care Nursing Update’
To commemorate the birth anniversary of visionary founder of nursing profession, Florence Nightingale, Chitkara College of Nursing organized a one-day workshop on ‘Critical Care Nursing Update’ at Chitkara University, Punjab Campus.
Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, was the Chief Guest and Lt Gen Dr M.L. Chawla (Retd), Director Academics, Fortis healthcare Ltd, was the Guest of Honour for the program.
Harmeet Kaur, Principal, Chitkara College of Nursing, shared that the aim of the workshop that was to enlighten the various latest aspects of critical care nursing, it is the specialty within nursing that deals specifically with human responses to life threatening problems.
Lt. Gen. Chawla, in his keynote address to the audience, presented the latest AHA guidelines on ST-T Infarct. Dr Preethi Pradhan, Dean, Chitkara School of Health Sciences, discussed about the theme of International Nurses Day 2013 – Closing the Gap: Millennium Development Goals.
