Health Cosmos 2020, a Conference on ‘Newer Healthcare Paradigms’ organized by Department of Healthcare Management

The Department of Healthcare Management organized Health Cosmos – 2020, a conference on ‘Newer Healthcare Paradigms’ in which two Panel Discussions and an Expert Talk were organized.

The topic of the Panel Discussion was ‘Public Health Dynamics for a Stronger Nation: Informatics to the Aid’ and the Expert Panelists were Dr Meghna Sharma, Pediatrician, Civil Hospital, Phase 6, Mohali; Dr Aarti Soni, Dhanush Infotech, Haryana Govt., Panchkula; Prof. Keerti Pradhan, Director, Healthcare Management Program, Chitkara University. The topic of the other panel discussion was ‘Secret Recipe for Hiring the Best Fit: Healthcare Human Resource’ and the Expert Panelists of this Panel Discussion were Mr. Shivraj Nakai, Unit Head – HR, Max Hospital, Mohali; Ms. Anmol Sandhu, Manager, Learning & Development, Max Skill First, Mohali; Mr. Himanshu Upadhyay, Regional Manager, People Department, Cloud Nine Group of Hospitals, Noida and Ms. Rashmi Awasthi, HR Head, Cloud Nine Hospital, Chandigarh.

The expert talk was given by Dr. (Col.) B.P. Singh, Managing Director, Chief Consultant, Global Healthcare Integrated Business Solutions and ‘Hospital Planning: an Overview’ was the topic of his talk.

Dr Amit Mittal, PhD (Management) & Dean, Doctoral Research Centre, Chitkara University, was the Guest of Honour of the conference.
