Hawkeyes Triumph in Grand Finale of 18th Chitkara Cricket Tournament

The 18th Edition of the Chitkara Cricket Tournament concluded in an exciting grand finale after an intense three-month-long competition. The T20 final match witnessed outstanding performances and remarkable sportsmanship from the competing teams.

Team Hawkeyes emerged as the champions, displaying exceptional skill and strategy throughout the tournament. Team CSE Dominator put up a strong fight but had to settle for the runner-up position. The tournament brought together talented cricketers from across the university, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and competitive excellence.

Dr. Jaiteg Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Department of Computer Applications, Chitkara University, felicitated the winning teams and individual achievers, recognising their dedication and hard work. Several players delivered standout performances during the final match, with Anant being named the Man of the Match. Tushar Sharma was awarded the Best Batsman, while Anshuman received the Best Bowler title. The prestigious Man of the Series award was claimed by Anirudh Jindal, whose consistent performance was instrumental in shaping the tournament’s outcome.
