Hands-on courses on Application of Matrices in Operations Research

School of Applied Sciences, Chitkara University, Punjab, conducted Industry Oriented Hands On Courses on ‘Application of Matrices in Operations Research (OR)’.

Interactive sessions were taken up for three consecutive days by using different Power point Presentations along with Expert lectures.

The event spanned across three days and it provided deep insights and understanding of the deterministic/OR models of interest from a mathematical or applications perspective. For the first time, besides Applied Sciences, 60 IOHC participants were from different streams- CSE, ME, ECE, Chitkara Business School and Computer Applications.

The event proved useful for the students who attended the course as it delved deep into the details of the respective topics. Students were thankful to the staff and faculty of School of Applied Sciences for conducting the hands-on courses as it made them understand the nuances of Application of Matrices in Operations Research.
