HackExpo 2024 Ignites Innovation at Chitkara University in Collaboration with Israel Embassy
Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, in partnership with the Embassy of Israel in India, recently organised HackExpo 2024, a vibrant two-day event that brought together a diverse group of innovators, thought leaders, and professionals to collaborate, innovate, and tackle pressing global challenges. The event attracted students, experts, and industry leaders who worked together to explore the transformative potential of technology in shaping the future.
The distinguished panel of speakers included Maya Sherman, Innovation Attaché from the Embassy of Israel; Upkar Singh, Corporate IT Head at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited; Phaneendra Bharadwaj, a security expert and researcher in the Internet of Things (IoT); Dr. Suyash Shendye, a renowned psychiatrist at Sri Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi; Dr. Praveen Kumar Khosla, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research) at Chitkara University; and Hemant Kumar, a member of the Cyber Cell, Baddi. Each expert shared invaluable insights into the evolving landscape of technology and how it can be leveraged to address some of the most critical challenges faced by society today, ranging from cybersecurity threats to mental health issues and IoT vulnerabilities.
