Gurpreet, Hospitality Student explores his culinary side and wins a Bronze Medal at Culinary Arts Competition -2016, Delhi
Gurpreet Singh Khalsa, Sem 6 Student of Chitkara School of Hospitality participated in Culinary Arts Competition -2016 organized by Indian Culinary Forum ( ICF ) at AAHAR, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and won “Bronze Medal”.
About 44 student Chefs and food enthusiasts from all over the country competed in this mini Culinary Olympiad. Gurpreet decided to go with a French Classical Dish and presented it in modern gastronomic combination to enhance the visual appeal.
AAHAR is the largest fair on Food and Hospitality Sector in India. Earlier it used be just a food show but since 1982, it has grown to a great extent including complete hospitality sector as well. The number of participants has immensely increased over the last few years and the fair now sees participants and visitors from all across the world. Gurpreet certainly stood out at the event with his preparation, which was applauded by one and all.
He presented Chicken Cordon Bleu with Parsley Butter, Dill Tapioca, Strawberry Couli and Salad with Gin Reduction. The dish was an instant hit among all the participants present.
