Grand Inaugural of National Integration Camp at Chitkara University
Chitkara University, Punjab, in conjunction with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the National Service
Scheme (NSS), Regional Directorate Chandigarh, inaugurated a ‘National Integration Camp’ aimed at fostering unity, health awareness, and educational enrichment.
This seven-day camp commenced with a grand inaugural ceremony attended by dignitaries including Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University Punjab; Dr. SC Sharma, Registrar, Chitkara University Punjab; Dr. Neelam Verma, Director, Office of Student Affairs; Dr. Deepak Puri, Senior Director, Max Health Care, Chandigarh; and Rupinder Kaur, State NSS Officer, Punjab.
Dr. Puri, in a thought-provoking session titled ‘Heart 2 Health,’ enlightened participants about the pivotal elements of maintaining a healthy heart life. Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, Dean of Chitkara School of Mass Communication, and Dr. Vaibbhavi Pruthviraj Ranavaade, Dean of Fashion Design at Chitkara Design School, engaged the audience with insightful discussions on ‘Role of Tourism and Media in National Integration’ and ‘Opportunities to Upskill Communities,’ respectively.
Adding vibrancy to the event, cultural performances from various corners of the nation captivated the audience, showcasing the rich diversity and heritage of India.
During these seven days participants will not only promotes national integration but also underscores the significance of holistic well-being and educational empowerment among the youth. By bringing together students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, the National Integration Camp at Chitkara University, Punjab, will serves as a platform for fostering mutual understanding, respect, and collaboration.
