Global Business Week concludes on a high note

Global Business Week was definitely a week to remember.

The event was organized for the students of Chitkara Business School. During this event, MBA students were taught mini-courses by guest lecturers from partner universities around the world. Chitkara University has strong international academic collaborations and the Global Business Week witnessed participation of universities from countries such as Germany, France and Spain.

The guest lecturers taught short-term courses on International Trade, Corporate Social Responsibility, Leadership, Cross Cultural Management etc.

CBS students appreciated the technical knowledge of the visiting professors and also enjoyed interactive sessions with the experts.

One of the MBA students remarked, “It feels great to have participated in such a global event. The global week has given me exposure to an international way of learning. It has also inspired me to go to Europe to have a true international experience.”

On the last day of the event, it was the turn of the highly motivated students to showcase glimpses of Indian culture to the visiting faculty. The students prepared collages highlighting business culture in India. Students agreed that the moments spent with the guest lecturers were invaluable and they would like to remember the global week as a gateway to limitless international opportunities.
