Gameeks 2013, an inter-campus counter strike tournament for students
To add that zing to the life at Chitkara University, an inter-campus state-of-the-art counter strike tournament was organized at CU’s Punjab campus in January. The event was called Gameeks 2013 and it was an amalgamation of excitement, thrill and enthusiasm that made our students bring out their true Chitkara spirit.

Hordes of students from Chitkara University campuses took part in Gameeks 2013. The game was played in a darkened 4,500 square foot arena in which the players had to seek and capture the opponent’s base.

Heartbeats had soared and adrenalin levels went up when we witnessed our students play it up. There were lights and music all around and lasers were fired to strike your opponents and capture their base while trying to avoid being shot.

Luck played a major part in winning over your opponent but this could not keep our students off the arena as they tried their luck at Gameek 2013.

At Chitkara we believe that all work and no play will make Jack a dull boy, this pushes us to add fun, excitement and exhilaration into the life at the CU campus so that our students don’t just come to CU but they long to come to CU and be a cheerful part of CU.
