Faculty and students of Computer Science Engineering, day out at Infosys, Chandigarh

It was a day full of learning, gaining knowledge and insights and experiencing the real life corporate culture!
When the Faculty and students of Chitkara Department of Computer Sciences (CSCS) attended Spark 2017 program orgainzed by Infosys in their Campus at IT Park, Chandigarh, it was nothing short of an extraordinary experience right out of fantasy! During the day trip the students of CSCS were introduced to the campus culture and daily life of a typical IT company.

The students were taken on a campus tour by the officials of Infosys and they also attended various enriching and enlightening sessions. The interactions explained work ethics, history and work strategy of Infosys. which is India’s largest IT company.

The students of CSCS also learnt about software engineering life-cycle through a project activity involving team work, planning and implementation. They were awed at witnessing the huge campus set up and the facilities it houses. “It was an inspiring experience for us as we aspire to work with such big IT firms. The work culture is so conducive for one’s growth professionally as well as personally,” said one of the students.

With so much to take back and implement, it was a day well spent by the students and Faculty and they will cherish the moments forever.
