Experts from Pegasystems and TalentSprint interact with students

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Chitkara University, organized a session based upon Pega University Academic Programs. Mr. Sridhar (Chief Digital Officer, TalenstSprint), Mr. Giridaran (Director Business Development, TalentSprint) and Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi (Sr. Developer, Pegasystems) were the resource persons of the event.

When it comes to cloud software for customer engagement and operational excellence, Pegasystems is the leader. You have experienced Pega if you’ve driven a car, used a credit card, called a company for service, opened an account, flown on a plane, submitted a claim, or performed countless other everyday tasks. Chitkara students were keen on how the digitization has impacted our industries and this is where the resource persons gave in their valued inputs.

The resource persons stated that computerization and digitization are disturbing many industries with an immense impact, especially in the workforce. Manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, financial services, agriculture, public sector, and even the food industry are all experiencing the impact and to balance this out, a sustained approach is needed.

The session was based on Pega University academic course and impact of Pega platform on current placement trends. The session highlighted the utility and application of Pega platform in system development and automatic code generation. Overall, the session was really productive and informative. About 400 students attended the session.
