An expert talk by Oracle WDP and Aptech organized by IEEE Student Chapter, Chitkara University

Mr Raja DasGupta,Head of Oracle – Workforce Development Program & Certification, speaking on the occasion,stressed upon the fact there is a significant gap between the students and the IT Industry requirement. He further said that the IT industry is poised for a rapid growth and is expected to touch US $225 Billion by the year 2020.

Mr Manjit Singh made students aware that as per NASSCOM only 25% of passing out graduates were currently employable, the scarcity of skills will only intensify in coming years. He discussed with students the current trends of the IT Industry and the importance of Certifications in their careers.
