Expert talk on ‘FACTS Technology’ organised under aegis of I.E.I. Students Chapter (EE)

Chitkara University believes in organising timely talks on various issues pertaining to the academic and the professional world that the students are bound to face in the times to come. One such talk was delivered by an expert on ‘FACTS Technology’ under the aegis of Students’ Chapter (EE) of the Institution of Engineers (India) at Chitkara University, Punjab.

FACTS, Flexible AC Transmission Systems, are a collection of power transmission control technologies based on very high power solid state electronic devices. The lecture was delivered by Dr Lini Mathew, Associate Professor, EE department, NITTTR, Chandigarh.

The students had their chance to interact with the expert on the same in order to clear their doubts, if any. Prof. Anu Singla thanked the expert for delivering the talk at the end of the session.
