Expert Session on “Concept to Reality” hosted by School of Planning & Architecture
Chandigarh, India – Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture (CSPA) recently organized an expert session on the topic “Concept to Reality” for the students of Foundation Batches on April 12, 2023. The event aimed to provide students with insights into the significance of concepts in the design process and real-world projects.
The session was conducted by practicing architect and CSPA alumni Ar. Sidhant Garg, Principal Architect at 261° Projects, Panchkula. Garg engaged the students in various brainstorming and interactive activities to help them come up with impromptu ideas related to the topic. He also shared his experiences and explained how architects perceive and start with concepts in the design process of real-world projects.
The event was conceived by Prof. Sumit Wadhera, Dean Academics – Foundation Studies, and coordinated by Swati Sharma and Tarun Gupta. The students appreciated the session and gained insights into the importance of concepts in the design process.
