Enthusiastic students flaunt beverage knowledge to create unique Mocktails at competition

Chitkara College of Hospitality Management organised a Mocktail Competition on March 13, 2019, at the Punjab Campus. The theme of the competition was ‘Holi Miracles’, with the contest open for the entire university to participate. Enthusiastic students flaunted their beverage knowledge and skills, to create unique, colourful Mocktails.

Mr. Jitender Sharma, Restaurant Manager, Taj Hotel, Chandigarh; was the Judge for the competition. Mr. Jitender has 10 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry with brands like Oberoi Hotels, Taj Hotels, Marriott Hotels, and The Hilton Groups.

After judging for the competition, Mr. Jitender Sharma delivered an inspiring lecture on ‘Latest Trends in Mocktails’, which was highly appreciated by all the students. He also spoke about his field experiences to motivate students to work hard and strive for excellence.

Students, Gurleen Kaur & Aryan Chopra bagged the first prize, followed by Sara Kapoor & Payal Arora with the second prize. Students Mohit & Paras were placed third. The competition concluded with an honorarium to the guests and vote of thanks by Mr. Sushil Kalra, Dy. Dean, Chitkara College of Hospitality Management.
