Engineering students showcased their coding skills in 2-day Hackathon on HANA Cloud Platform at Explore Hub

SAP organised a 2-day Hackathon on HANA cloud Platform on 9th -10th November 2017 at Explore Hub, Chitkara University. Around 40 students from Computer Science & Engineering participated & showcased their coding skills.

Two officials from SAP team had given some business challenges to the students to come out with Innovative solutions using SAP technologies. The competition continued overnight & students were very enthusiastic about it as they had to cover few tutorials & then choose a problem statement out of those given to them & then find and implement a solution to the chosen problem. Some teams did highly appreciating work that SAP officials said they’ll be in touch with those teams & Team – Pirates was successful in convincing the judges about their solution to the problem statement. There should be more such kind of hackathons as students get a lot of exposure to new technologies.
