An educational visit to Verka Milk Plant conducted for 2nd-year students of BSc Nursing & Post Basic Nursing
An educational visit to Verka Milk Plant was conducted on 6th February 2018 for the students of BSc Nursing 2nd year and Post Basic BSc Nursing 2nd year of Chitkara College of Nursing as a part of their curriculum under the subject Community Health Nursing.
Students were given information regarding collection, segregation, storage and production areas of various Verka products. Students cleared their doubts regarding pasteurization of milk, laboratory test and various hygienic standards used in a milk plant.
