E-PEDICAB bags first position at IIT Kanpur

Shivam Sahni, along with his team mates, Divyam Dewan, Abhishek Singla and Mrinali Sharma bagged the first position in Technical Exhibition at Techkriti 2015, IIT Kanpur.

Participating UG and PG teams demonstrated their projects like Parabolic Reflector, Electro Chemical M/c at cheap rates, making lens by syringe dropping method in quick seconds etc. from IIT and different universities from India.

In the first round, 27 projects were selected and in the second round, only five projects were shortlisted, and in the final round, among the top five teams, Chitkara University bagged the first position. Patented (Patented on Shivam Sahni’s name) Innovation E-PEDICAB was personally appreciated and recognized by senior most professors of IIT who were also judges for the fest.

The team has earlier won second position in IIT, BHU.

Novelty, which defines the new revolution in trishaws and provides vital application in the basic public transport of India, was thoroughly appreciated by a panel of judges, guests and attendants.

The innovation has been patented on Shivam Sahni’s name under the patent act, 1970. The young innovators are modifying the product and trying to make it a part of the transport sector.
