I.E.(India) Students’ Chapter participated in 46th Engineer’s Day at Chandigarh
EEE and ECE student members of I.E. (India) of CU Punjab Campus participated on the occasion of 46th Engineers’ Day, held on the premises of Institution of Engineers (India), Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre, Chandigarh.
The theme of the day was Frugal Engineering- Achieving more with Fewer Resources. As engineers, in the service of the humanity enabling the citizens to enjoy a better quality of life, we have an added responsibility these days to find engineering solutions and that can be done by frugal innovations.
Our budding engineers Niti Sharma (EEE) and Neha Kapila (ECE) presented their ideas on theme. Varun Chadha (EEE) and Arvinder Malik (EEE) demonstrated certain innovations through a video prepared by them.
Er. M.N. Sharma, Chairman, Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre appreciated Gayatri Pasricha (EEE) and Laveen Kohli (ECE) for their contribution in organizing the event as masters of ceremony.
Er. K.D. Chaudhari, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, was the chief guest of the function. He presented the memento’s and certificates to the student participants for their great performances.
