Dr S.N. Panda invited to attend TiEcon 2017 at Santa Clara, USA, which was attended by 6800 people
Dr S.N. Panda, Director Research CURIN, Chitkara University,was invited to attend an Annual Conference of TiEcon 2017 on May 5-6, 2017, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California, USA.
He was in Silicon Valley as a part of FICCI Start-ups/Innovators Delegation organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in partnership with TiE Silicon Valley. TiEcon 2017 marks the 25th year of celebrating innovation and breakthrough technology, making it one of the longest ongoing tech conference around.
Dr Panda stated that TiEcon 2017 was the world’s largestentrepreneurship conference and it was all about imagine, innovate, inflect!
He stated that it was an exposure for him as well as the entire Chitkara fraternity to be associated with the conference, as the University has managed to gain a place of prominence within the educational set-up globally.
Talking about the conference, he further added that TiEcon is the largest technology anchored conference dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship. Ranked alongside Demo, TED and World Economic Forum among top 10 conferences worldwide for ideas and entrepreneurship by Worth magazine, TiEcon attracted over 50,000 entrepreneurs and professionals from over 50 countries in the past. Last year alone, there were over 4,700 participants from 22 countries. Dr Panda indeed took pride to be a part of such a grand platform through an invite.
